Terms of Service
All users of the Interlingua ESL recruitment services website, hereinafter referred to as 'The Site', agree to be bound by the following terms of service:
Part 1: Teachers
- Registration is free for teachers. Teachers are not required to pay any fees for services provided by Interlingua ESL Recruitment Services, other than for 'value added' services not provided automatically by the Website (consultation, assistance with job placement, etc.)
- Teachers agree to report any suspicious vacancy adverts by using the 'contact' links on this Website. Teachers should include the exact page URL of the suspect advert in their messages.
- Teachers must provide genuine contact details during registration. (In the 'street address' field, the name of the region or street is sufficient - house or apartment numbers are not required).
- Teachers accept that the owners of this Website in no way recommend or vouch for the vacancies advertised on it. Please use caution and common sense at all times. The owners of this Website will not be held responsible for any loss, death or injury arising from the use of this Website.
Part 2: Schools and Recruiters
- Schools and recruiters, herinafter referred to as 'Agent' and collectively as 'Agents', may advertise vacancies for any position connected to language teaching.
- Agents may be companies or private individuals.
- Agents shall not post adverts that contain vulgar, sexually explicit or offensive material or material inciting hatred. Agents also shall not post adverts that discriminate against applicants on the basis of gender, race or religion.
- The administrator of The Site, herinafter referred to as the 'Administrator', reserves the right to remove any vacancy adverts that are deemed unsuitable. In such cases, the Administrator is not liable to refund any monies paid for the activation of said adverts, or to inform the Agent who posted the advert of its deletion.
- In the process of creating a vacancy advert and/or membership account, the Agent must provide the Administrator with true and genuine contact and personal details.
- In creating vacancy adverts, the Agent must not enter any contact details outwith the areas specified, in particular, but not limited to, email addresses.
- The Administrator reserves the right to remove any vacancy adverts that are deemed to have infringed upon the Terms of Service. In such cases, the Administrator is not liable to refund any monies paid for the activation of said adverts, or to inform the Agent who posted the advert of its deletion.
- Agents have no right to contact applicants to an advert that has not been activated.
- Agents agree that after an advert has been activated, applicants will be able to apply via a form on The Site, directly by telephone or directly by email, after having submitted a request to receive the Agent's email address.
- Agents agree that they cannot view contact details or CVs/resumes of applicants who have applied to an advert that is not activated.
- All adverts will be displayed on the site for a maximum of 30 days or until the closing date specified by the Agent, whichever is sooner. In no case will adverts be displayed for more than 30 days, regardless of closing date.
- An advert may be activated at any time after it has been submitted, but will run for no more than 30 days from the date of submission. An advert may be activated after it has ceased to run.
- Agents can search for teachers fitting their requirements and invite them to apply for a position, but cannot receive contact details until they have applied for the position.
- Agents must not use the site to harvest or collect email addresses or contact details.
Part 3: Job posting rules
- Agents shall only post adverts for specific vacancies. 'Generic' invitations to apply for non-specific vacancies or to send contact details will be removed.
- In posting a vacancy advert, Agents shall specify the exact conditions of one specific vacancy per advert.
- Agents must specify the location (country and city) of the job vacancy.
- Agents are not allowed to advertise vacancies that require the applicant to pay any fees to secure employment. This includes, but is not limited to, fees for processing documents, accommodation deposits, visa services. Any such adverts will be summarily deleted without question.
- Agents shall not enter contact details into the job description. Contact details will be provided to applicants automatically.
