Unlike many similar sites, we actually do take the utmost care to protect teachers' personal information (email, telephone and other private contact details).

Schools using the site can only view contact details of teachers who have directly applied for a job advertised by them. Schools cannot otherwise contact teachers directly, although they can send invitations to teachers to apply for specific jobs. These invitations are sent through the site, much like private messaging on forums.

If a teacher accepts an invitation and applies for a vacancy, the employer will be able to view the teacher's:

  1. Full name
  2. Email address
  3. Skype username
  4. Country of origin
  5. Current city of residence
  6. Native language
  7. Qualification and experience levels
  8. Profile (CV) and any information contained therein
Schools cannot view teachers' street addresses (this information is not disclosed to anyone except site administrators).

  1. Interlingua collects certain personal information in order to identify and facilitate communication between site users.
  2. Personal information collected by Interlingua will not be sold, leased or otherwise provided to third parties without the express consent of the individual to whom such personal information pertains.
  3. Interlingua will, from time to time, send automated emails to registered users informing them of events relevant to their accounts. All such emails will include a link to instantly opt-out of any further such mailings.
